Mission Statement
To promote bicycle and pedestrian and other nonmotorized travel (wheelchairs, rollerblading, skateboarding, etc.) via engineering, education, encouragement, evaluation, and planning activities within the Township of Grosse Ile.  We will enhance, maintain, and promote nonmotorized facilities and related policies. Additionally, we will develop relevant educational and public outreach programs.  We will act in the best interest of the Township, working with the Township Staff, Board of Trustees, Township Commissions & Committees, Township Schools, local residents, and others as appropriate.  We will create a safer and more user-friendly environment for walking and wheeling.
