 Welcome New Officer

The Grosse Ile Police Department would like to welcome its newest officer Raymond Bodrie.  Officer Bodrie is a graduate of Central Michigan University and has attended the Wayne County Regional Police Academy at Schoolcraft College.  Officer Bodrie is a lifelong resident of Grosse Ile and his father is our current Fire Marshall, Russell Bodrie.

Grosse Ile Township recently received the “Safest Community in Michigan” award.
I would like to thank the citizens of Grosse Ile who have constantly supported us through good times and bad.  We continue to strive to make Grosse Ile the safest community for the people who live, work and visit.

As the Chief of Police, I am not only proud to be a part of this community but proud to serve the people of Grosse Ile and give them the service they truly deserve.
